How do tokens work?

EvalAI operates on a transparent token system. We process evaluations on a page-by-page basis:

• • 1 Token = OCR spatial text extraction (converts handwritten scanned pages into raw digital text transcripts).
• • 1 Token = AI semantic evaluation (audits raw transcripts against your model answers and rubrics using LLMs).
• • Total Cost: 2 tokens per answer sheet page.
