EvalAI charges 2 tokens per scan page evaluated (1 token for Optical Character Recognition text extraction + 1 token for AI semantic grading). You can buy tokens in prepaid packages. Standard trial users receive 6 free tokens (up to 3 page evaluations).
EvalAI provides AI-assisted evaluations, not final grades. All evaluations must be audited and approved by human educators. If a score is miscalculated due to poor scans, OCR limitations, or handwriting issues, teachers can manually override marks in the dashboard before exporting files.
Your scanned sheets and marksheets are retained on secure cloud databases for a period based on your purchased plan (e.g., 7 days for Free Trial, 30 days for Starter, and up to 90 days maximum for Department plans). Data deletion requests are processed in full within 30 days.

Yes. The platform reads handwritten numbers, mathematical variables, and logical equations. Diagram OCR interpretation is currently in active beta. We recommend scanning answer sheets at 300 DPI for optimum mathematical formula rendering.
